Women and men who are breast cancer survivors, family members and friends of survivors who are concerned about breast health issues can become volunteers.
Volunteers can help by answering hotline calls, providing outreach to the community, fundraising, special events and office work.
Hotline volunteers provide emotional support, information and referral services to callers with breast health concerns. Our trained and supervised volunteers are both women and men who have had breast cancer and can relate to callers questions and concerns.
Volunteers can help by providing community outreach. This includes attending health fairs and other community events, speaking to groups, and giving out literature in diverse communities.
Volunteers can help with office duties such as mailings, data entry, phone calls, copying and scanning of documents etc.
Volunteers can help by working at or attending our or outside fundraising events that may benefit our Program.
Volunteers can also plan and organize fundraising activities in collaboration with our staff members and other volunteers.
Volunteers can assist with helping to plan, organize and provide fundraising and educational events.
