Feel Empowered and Increase Your Self-Esteem
An Online Art Therapy Series

Self-esteem and self-acceptance are the building blocks of wellness. Discover how art can help boost your self-esteem and cope with the basic challenges of life.

The Adelphi Breast Cancer Program is offering a free (4) week workshop that will review exercises designed to enhance your feelings of worthiness and make you feel stronger and more in control.

The Feel Empowered and Increase Your Self-Esteem Workshop will be held on Wednesday’s from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. This is a 4-week series which will be held online on July 15July 22July 29 and August 52020.

This online workshop will accommodate only 15 members. You must register to attend the workshop.
All members must commit to attending the entire 4-week session.

All participants will need:

  • colored pencils, markers or crayons
  • quality paper for drawing
  • scissors, magazines and glue
  • paper plate, oak tag, and decorating items such as glitter, pom poms, stickers, etc.
  • computer access with camera, microphone, printer and internet

This workshop will be facilitated by Angela M. Papalia, LMSW, Assistant Director for the Adelphi Breast Cancer Program along with Kimberly Newman, BFA, Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the Adelphi Breast Cancer Program. All groups are free but registration is required.
