A diagnosis of breast cancer can lead to increased anxiety and stress. Finding coping mechanisms to help reduce stress and anxiety can be an important part of treatment. During this educational forum we will practice two types of meditation: mindfulness and gong meditation. Meditation and mindfulness allows participants to be more aware of what is happening with themselves. Gong music is an empowering, healing tool. Sound waves from the gong help move the physical and energetic bodies into a relaxed state.
Please wear comfortable clothes, participants will have the option to meditate on a mat on the floor.
