New Beginnings – An Online Art Therapy Workshop

This empowering workshop will focus on New Beginnings. Learn how to let go of the past, focus on the present and embrace the future. Our (4) week art therapy workshops empower participants to express themselves using art. We provide a safe place to communicate your thoughts, feelings, concerns, problems, hopes and dreams. Our professional staff guides you through different exercises and discussions helping you to find ways to gain personal insight and develop new coping skills.

Throughout (4) weeks, we will have discussions, learn techniques and exercises focusing on happiness, gratitude, music’s impact on our emotions and mindfulness. Special guest, Mrs. Carol Ng, a certified music educator for over 38 years will be joining us.

Mrs. Carol Ng is a certified music educator for over 38-years. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Long Island University specializing in General Music. Mrs. Ng also has a Master of Science from Long Island University specializing in Music Education. She is Orff Schulwerk Level 1 certified. (The Orff Schulwerk, or simply the Orff Approach, is a developmental approach used in music education. It combines music, movement, drama, and speech into lessons that are similar to child’s world of play.)

Ms. Ng was the general music, chorus and hand chimes choir director for the North Bellmore School District from 2001-2020. She is also the youth choir/handbell choir director for Curé of Ars Roman Catholic Church in Merrick. She is married with two sons and the proud grandmother to Kaylee and Hailey.

Her passion is sharing her love of music and God with others. You can follow Ms. Ng on social media at:
