David Mattos, MD, MBA es un cirujano plástico entrenado en la Universidad de Harvard con experiencia en cirugía estética y reconstructiva. Tiene un amplio entrenamiento reconstructivo, que incluye reconstrucción de cáncer de mama de vanguardia, trauma craneofacial, cirugía de migraña, cirugía de nervios de las extremidades y reconstrucción de Mohs. Actualmente es miembro candidato de la Sociedad Estadounidense de Cirujanos Plásticos (ASPS) y la Sociedad Estadounidense de Cirugía Plástica Estética (ASAPS).

ABOUT THIS FORUM:

Join us for an informative workshop with Dr. David Mattos, MD, MBA, Long Island Plastic Surgical Group who will discuss Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy. Dr. Mattos will explain your options, what to expect and the questions you should be asking as you prepare to make your decision.

Dr. David Mattos, MD, MBA

David Mattos, MD, MBA is a Harvard-trained plastic surgeon with experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He received a bachelor’s with high honors from Harvard College and went on to complete the dual MD/MBA with honors at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School. His continued success in medicine helped him match into the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His fellow residents further elected him Chief Resident Representative and gave him the Resident Teacher of the Year Award.

Clinically, he seeks to provide individualized care and help his patients achieve balanced, natural results. He has an aesthetic interest in rhinoplasty, facial optimization (surgical and non-surgical), eyelid surgery, abdominoplasty, breast surgery, and liposuction. He has extensive reconstructive training, including cutting-edge breast cancer reconstruction, craniofacial trauma, migraine surgery, nerve surgery of the extremities, and Mohs reconstruction. He is currently a candidate member for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
