At the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Program, we honor, accept and respect all individuals who courageously face breast cancer every single day. Free of charge, our Licensed Social Workers and professionally trained volunteers are here to provide inclusive, respectful, culturally sensitive support services. Our bilingual staff members can speak with you in English and Spanish, and will help to navigate you throughout your diagnosis, recognizing and celebrating your unique circumstances.
Call our Statewide Hotline at 800.877.8077 for more information and support. You are not alone.
“I’ve just been diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. I know I should talk with someone, but I really need to speak with other people who have a similar diagnosis. My circumstances are unique.”
“My partner and I just learned that her biopsy came back positive and she needs to begin treatment right away. We want to find a support group, but are concerned about finding one that’s inclusive and right for us.”
“I learned that the lump in my breast is cancerous. I didn’t know that men could get breast cancer and don’t know where to turn for help.”
“My nineteenth birthday is next week and I can’t believe that I need to have a biopsy. How could this be happening?”
“As a working parent caring for my elderly mom, I’m torn between two worlds. There has to be a place for other caregivers like me to receive support. I really need to talk with someone who understands.”
