Adelphi Breast Cancer Program Hosts 30/30 Exercise Class for Women Impacted by Breast Cancer

Garden City, NY – On Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 6 PM, the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program will host its second fitness class, a 30/30 Exercise Classa free event designed specifically for women affected by breast cancer. Following the success and positive feedback of the inaugural class, this empowering event returns to bring together survivors and thrivers from across Long Island.

Held at Woodruff Hall on the Adelphi University campus, the class features 30 minutes of spin/cardio followed by 30 minutes of strength and sculpting using hand-held weights and bodyweight exercises. The session will be led by a fellow survivor and dedicated program volunteer, offering participants inspiration and motivation from someone who understands their journey.

“After our first class, many participants shared how much they appreciated having a space where they could connect, move, and feel supported,” said Nina Foley, LCSW, Volunteer and Hotline Supervisor at Adelphi. “We’re excited to bring this energy back to Woodruff Hall and continue fostering wellness and community.”

Whether you’re easing back into fitness or looking to try something new, this class welcomes all levels and encourages a go-at-your-own-pace approach.

Registration is required. Participants should wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers and bring a towel and water bottle.

For more information or to register for the 30/30 Exercise Class, please contact Nina Foley at 516.877.4315 or email at nfoley@adelphi.edu.
