Adelphi Breast Cancer Program

Adee Hendler is a life long resident of Long Island. She graduated from Beaver College, now Arcadia University, in 1967 with a BA degree in sociology. She earned a MA in education in 1968 at Adelphi University.

Having always been active in non profit endeavors, Adee served as President of North Nassau section of the National Council of Jewish Women, and as President of Child Abuse Prevention Services. She is a breast cancer survivor and currently an advisory board member of the Adelphi Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program. She has served for over twenty-five years as a hotline volunteer for the program.

Adee resides in Manhasset. She and her husband Don have three children and seven grandchildren.
