Adelphi Annual Golf Classic to Honor
Doug Flynn ’89


Golfers will come together on Thursday, October 3, 2019, to honor wealth management expert Doug Flynn ’89 at Adelphi University’s 31st Annual Golf Classic. The event will take place at North Hempstead Country Club in Port Washington, New York.

Flynn is a successful Certified Financial Planner Professional and the co-founder of Flynn Zito Capital Management, LLC. In 2010, Flynn and Richard J. Zito, CFP®, CMFC, established the Flynn Zito Capital Management Scholarship Fund for finance students. All net proceeds raised from the Golf Classic in Flynn’s name will go toward the fund.

Credited for his contributions to five best-selling personal finance books, Flynn has been interviewed by or featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times, Newsday, Money, Reuters, SmartMoney and New York magazine. In addition, he has appeared regularly on multiple news outlets for more than 25 years including CNN, CNBC, ABC, FOX News, and FOX Business as well as nationally syndicated radio through SiriusXM and CNN Radio. In New York, he has made appearances on ABC 7, CBS 2, FOX 5, PIX11 and NY1, radio WCBS 880 and 77 WABC. He is currently a recurring guest on several FOX Business Network shows.
