Adelphi president named one of top women in education


Making Adelphi a model of diversity and inclusion is one of President Christine Riordan’s top priorities. In April, her focus on this goal and the progress Adelphi has made in reaching it were recognized by the publication Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, which named her one of the top 25 women in higher education.

It is not the only recognition she has received in past months. Long Island Press placed her on its 15th annual Power List, and the Garden City Chamber of Commerce named her Business Person of the Year.
