President Christine M. Riordan has joined the many corporate, government and college and university leaders who signed the We Are Still In declaration to support the Paris Agreement on climate change.

As President Riordan stated on her Facebook page:

“Adelphi University is already a leader in the field of energy conservation and recycling. From the solar panels on the roof of Swirbul Library, to our beautiful organic gardens, to our use of cogeneration to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we are a model of clean energy.

It was a natural fit, therefore, for me to sign the “We Are Still In”letter and add Adelphi University to the long list of universities that promise to uphold the spirit and the intent of the Paris Agreement.”
