Adelphi Welcomes Largest Class at Matriculation


At its matriculation ceremony on Sunday, August 28, 2016, Adelphi University welcomed more than 1,200 freshmen—its largest-ever incoming class.

FiOS1 News and News 12 Long Island covered the event, which featured a number of speakers, including Adelphi President Christine M. Riordan.

Kevin Nayotl, a physics major from the Class of 2020, spoke to FiOS1News about his decision to come to Adelphi.

“It has so many different types of people and you get to feel like the campus is your home right away and that’s definitely why I joined,” he said.
