Adelphi Breast Cancer Program
Debbie is a kind, caring and compassionate person. As a 14 year breast cancer survivor she can bring personal experience and empathy to the Advisory Board. Debbie is aware of the sensitive needs of those diagnosed with breast cancer. She is passionate to bring awareness and treatment of breast cancer to others.
Presently, Debbie works at Masterpiece Printers as an executive assistant. She is a volunteer at our program answering the hotline, presents at outreach events and attends our workshops and forums. Debbie also is corresponding secretary at her Synagogue.
Debbie for many years worked as a Special Education Teacher servicing the needs of children with disabilities. She was always prepared for the unexpected with this population. She is flexible, organized and always gives full attention to those in need.
Debbie earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Boston University and a Master of Science Degree in Special Education from Adelphi University. She has volunteered for numerous organizations and is always willing to give her time to help others.
