Joan Beder, DSW is Professor Emeritus at Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University. She has been teaching social work students for over 35 years and is still actively teaching numerous practice courses on the masters and doctoral level. Specialty areas of scholarship include oncology social work, loss and bereavement, and military social work.
