Mirirai Sithole ’12 Is a “Bright Shining Future Megastar”

mirirai_sitholeMirarai Sithole ’12 is a tough act to follow.

Since graduating with a B.F.A. in theater, she’s landed plum roles in TV, film and New York and regional theater and racked up awards and accolades for her performances. In 2016 we reported on her rave review in The New York Times for her breakthrough role in Mother Courage and Her Children and how she was awarded a Rosemarie Tichler Fund Grant. Later that year, we named her as one of our 10 Under 10 for 2016.

On May 6, 2018, Sithole added yet another notch to her acting belt with a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play for her work in School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play. And YesBroadway named her one of The 2018 YesBroadway 40 Under 40. Sam Maher, the site’s founder, wrote that she is “quite simply, a bright shining future megastar.”

Visit Sithole’s website to learn more about her work as an actor, mentor and public speaker.
