Adelphi’s 28th Annual Golf Classic Honoree
Ziad Kubursi is the Senior Vice President and Head of the Financial Institutions and Management Liability Divisions at CNA. Mr. Kubursi brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry working at AIG, Marsh & McLennan and Tokio Marine in various leadership positions in the U.S. and overseas including Head of Financial Lines for AIG responsible for Latin America, Middle East/Africa and Asia Pacific.
Most recently Ziad held the position of SVP and Head of Management & Professional Liability at Philadelphia Insurance Companies a Tokio Marine member company. Ziad brings a broad perspective to the insurance industry having held positions in claims, brokerage and underwriting primarily focused on Financial Lines Products.
Over his career, he had the opportunity to live in New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Dubai and Los Angeles. Ziad grew up overseas living in eight countries in Asia, US, Europe and Middle East before attended George Mason University graduating with a B.A. in Government and Politics.
He later earned an M.B.A. from Adelphi University while working at AIG and several years later completed an EMBA at London Business School while residing overseas. He also holds an RPLU Designation from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and continues to be an active member.
In the last year, Ziad has been on the advisory board for the Advisen Executive liability conference in Chicago and is on the PLUS International content committee and is the Co-Chair of the 2016 Advisen Executive Liability Conference in NY. Ziad is married with two young children and currently living in New York.

Ziad Kubursi will be honored at Adelphi’s 28th Annual Golf Classic on September 26, 2016 in Garden City, NY. All proceeds from the annual fundraising event will support Adelphi’s scholarships for student-athletes.
