We are all living through difficult times. Now, more than ever, it is important to remember that you are not alone. Please know that all of us at the Adelphi Breast Cancer Program are here to help, listen and support you and your family. If you or someone you love is struggling with a breast cancer diagnosis, experiencing difficulty navigating the health system amid the pandemic, looking for vital community resources, or want to talk, please call us at: 1.800.877.8077. Our licensed Social Workers, and trained volunteers are here to help. Mental health matters; support is a call or click away.
We have the oldest breast cancer hotline in the country staffed by professionally trained and supervised volunteers; most are breast cancer survivors. Our volunteers have “been there” and are ready to offer information regarding mammography screening referrals, treatment, support services and survivorship resources. You may call as often as you wish and talk for as long as needed. We can also match you with survivors who had the same type of treatment or breast reconstruction.
